Cable & Wireless Microsite
So, what was the problem?
Cable and Wireless, through our recruitment client Chemistry, required a microsite that would spread virally and attract the right candidates.
Cable and Wireless were looking for very specific people for the business. Newly formed organisational structures needed fresh, intelligent young people who would thrive in a dynamic environment. They turned to us to create a viral microsite that would not only filter out people that were not suited, but explain the type of candidates required and to sell Cable and Wireless as a great place to work.
How did we help?
We created a microsite based on the 'Cool Wall' concept. Users of the site would move Post-It notes around a chalkboard to map out their personality. If their personality matched that of Cable and Wireless, they would be forwarded to the recruitment page. If their personality required a conventional, structured place to work, they were sent off to a competitor's recruitment page. This helped filter away non-suitable candidates, whilst clearly communicating the exact type of person required.
