Does Google Love You?

Google is truly fickle, websites that have previously basked in Google’s love and affection can be quickly left in the corner to cry if Google finds a better offer.

Could your website answer to this?

There will always be another site that is prepared to make more of an effort to look attractive, and Google doesn’t feel bad about dropping you and moving on to find a newer, slicker and more popular site.

‘Lonely bot seeks an interesting and honest partner, with friends in high places who always has something new to say.’

So, who is Google’s perfect partner at the moment?

The perfect site has to be interesting by means of lots of other sites linking into it. Honest by not using out-of-date ‘tricks’ to get Google to love it. Friends in high places is a mutual link relationship with other popular sites, and something new to say translates to new, fresh content updated on a regular basis. If your site can answer to the above, then Google affection will lead to increased traffic and revenue from your site. As an example, Google currently loves our News module, and any news articles can shoot straight to the top based on how our pages are created.

When we create a website at Rawnet, or are asked to help on a website’s Search Engine Optimisation strategy, this is exactly what we do – we make it attractive to Google, give it some Rawnet Pheromone spray if you will.
